All Norsonic Instruments are given a unique serial number for quality control issues, to track calibration history and to track the individual product through its lifetime.
The serial number is also used as a unique id in Norsonic customers inventory management system.
To find the serial number:
Go to - Setup > Instrument > About - and you will find on the screen the Instrument Serial number:
The number starts with the model number, ex for Nor145 it will look like this: 14512345.
You will also find the instrument serial no. in the calibration certificate.
Please keep in mind that the instrument serial number is not the same as the instrument ID number.
