NorCloud can and will offer update of the Instruments firmware over NorCloud.

This is a service that can be switched off if not in line with local regulations, ex. where any firmware have to be approved by local authorities before it is installed.

If the firmware update over Cloud is offered, when available you will be asked in the sound sensor main page under Version to activate its installation. The installation files will then be downloaded over your connection and installed just after midnight the same day.

The instrument will not log data during the installation.

A typical installation is about 100Mb.
