Quick start > Technical requirements

These are the technical requirements in order to use NorCloud:

•To get an account you need to have purchased a Norsonic Instrument compatible with NorCloud. E.g. the Nor145, Nor1545, Nor150 or Nor1531.

•The instrument needs the option 1, 3, 4, 11 and 12 for using NorCloud enabled. See options.

•The instrument needs an Internet connection to the NorCloud server via LAN, WiFi or the cellular/mobile modem.

•The instrument connecting to NorCloud requires access to outgoing ports TCP 16150.

•The computer connecting to NorCloud needs an internet connection and a web browser supporting HTML5 and JavaScript.

•The computer needs to meet the minimum requirements for the web browser. It is recommended to have 8 GB RAM.

•The NorCloud client requires outgoing ports TCP 443 (HTTPS) and 16149.

•If using a Noise compass, the profileA needs to be set at one second or faster in sound setup.
